Why choose us

Benefits of Dentures

Complete or Partial Options

We offer complete dentures to replace a full arch of teeth and partial dentures to fill gaps when some natural teeth remain.

Made With Our Lab

Our on-site dental lab helps us craft and fine-tune your dentures right here in our office.

Implant-Supported Choice Available

If you want added stability, we also offer implant-supported dentures as an alternative to conventional ones.

Repairs and Replacements

We can repair or replace dentures you already have, even if they were made elsewhere.

Flexible Ways to Pay

We welcome self-pay patients, offer CareCredit financing, and file claims so you can use your out-of-network benefits.

Losing several teeth, or all of them, changes far more than your smile. It affects how you chew, how clearly you speak, and how comfortable you feel at the dinner table. At Valley Dental Care in Mayfield, Dr. Gregory Liberatore and Dr. Jonathan Montag provide both complete dentures and partial dentures, so we can recommend the option that matches your mouth as it is today rather than fitting you into a one-size approach.

Patients come to us for dentures for many different reasons. Some have lost teeth gradually over the years to decay or gum disease and now find that the remaining teeth are no longer enough to chew comfortably. Others have one or more teeth that cannot be saved, and they want to plan ahead for what comes after an extraction. Simple extractions are part of the care we offer in our office, which lets us coordinate that step with your denture planning.

Still other patients already wear dentures that no longer feel right. Over time, the shape of the gums and jaw can change, and a denture that once fit well may begin to slip, rub, or feel loose. We repair and replace existing dentures, including ones made elsewhere, so you do not need to start over with a new practice simply because your current set has worn out or been damaged.

Complete dentures replace an entire arch of teeth, upper, lower, or both. They are designed for patients who have no remaining natural teeth in that arch, or whose remaining teeth will be removed. A complete denture rests on the gums and restores the full row of teeth in one appliance.

Partial dentures fill the gaps when you still have some healthy natural teeth. Rather than replacing everything, a partial replaces only the missing teeth and attaches to the teeth you keep. For many patients, keeping healthy natural teeth is an important priority, and a partial allows for that. If you are unsure which category you fall into, an exam is the best way to find out. We look at the health of your remaining teeth and gums before making any recommendation.

Questions Worth Considering Before Treatment

Being a good candidate for dentures depends on more than how many teeth are missing. The condition of your gums matters, because both complete and partial dentures rely on healthy supporting tissue. Since our practice also provides gum disease treatment and periodontal maintenance, we can address gum concerns as part of your overall plan.

It helps to think through a few questions before your visit:

  • Are your remaining teeth healthy enough to support a partial denture?
  • Would you prefer a removable option, or are you interested in a more secure, implant-supported approach?
  • Are you replacing an older denture, and if so, what has bothered you about it?
  • Are there teeth that may need to be extracted first?

Some patients want more stability than a traditional denture provides. For them, we also offer implant-supported dentures, which attach to dental implants. We are glad to talk through how that compares with a conventional denture during your consultation.

Caring for Your Dentures Over Time

Dentures are an investment in daily comfort, and good habits help them serve you well. Cleaning them every day, handling them carefully to avoid drops, and keeping up with regular dental exams all matter. If you wear a partial, caring for the natural teeth that support it is just as important, since those teeth are part of what holds the denture in place.

Because the mouth naturally changes over time, a denture may eventually need adjustment, repair, or replacement. Our on-site dental lab is a real advantage here. Having lab capabilities in our own office helps us manage adjustments and repairs with closer attention to detail. If something feels off, such as a sore spot, a loose fit, or a chipped tooth, let us know rather than waiting. We also offer emergency dental appointments when an urgent problem comes up.

Payment, Insurance, and Financing

Valley Dental Care is an out-of-network office, which means we do not take insurance directly. However, we file claims on your behalf so you can use any out-of-network benefits your plan provides. We also welcome self-pay patients.

For those who would like to spread out the cost of treatment, we accept CareCredit financing. Our front office team is happy to explain your options and answer questions before you commit to a plan, so there are no surprises along the way.
